My eSIM is not working. How can I troubleshoot issues installing my eSIM?

  • Ensure that you're connected to WiFi

  • Make sure that you do not have a SIM from your previous carrier still installed, as an inactive eSIM or physical SIM card can often impede your Noble eSIM from performing as expected

    • Delete any old eSIMs from previous carrier (and be sure that you do NOT delete your Noble eSIM!)

    • Remove physical SIM card from previous carrier even if you have installed a Noble eSIM

  • Restart your phone

If you accidentally deleted your Noble eSIM during troubleshooting, you can request a new eSIM directly from your Noble Dashboard. Go to Lines, find the line in question and select Manage Line, and then click on Request new eSIM. We'll generate one a QR code to scan and install a new Noble eSIM.

How can I improve my data performance?

If you're having slower-than-expected speeds, make sure 5G is turned on!

  • For Android, navigate to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Allow 5G Service.

  • If you’re using an iPhone 12 or newer, navigate to Settings > Cellular > Your Noble eSIM > Voice & Data and select 5G Auto.

See this video for how to turn on 5G on your iPhone:

Noble 5G is on the T-Mobile network, so it’s fast! Sometimes based on your current location, network tower traffic, or signal strength, you may experience different network speeds. Try moving to a more open area or switching cellular data on and off. Also, most newer devices are 5G capable but if you have an older phone then your device may only get 4G / LTE bandwidth for its top speed.

I am having data / browsing issues when traveling internationally. What should I do?

If you are traveling internationally and cannot use cellular data, please make sure that data roaming is turned on for your phone and that Noble Global turned on for your account as well!

All devices can use this short-code to ensure data roaming is turned on:

Detailed device instructions for iPhone users:

  • Open Settings on your iPhone

  • Tap "Cellular"

  • Tap your Noble line (if you have multiple SIMs installed) or tap ‘Cellular Data Options’ (if you have only one SIM)

  • Toggle on "Data Roaming" (scroll down)

Detailed device instructions for Android users:

  • Open the Settings app on your phone

  • Select "Mobile Networks"

  • Tap the toggle and ensure that "Data Roaming"

    • If the Data Roaming switch is greyed out, check that Mobile data is activated. Go to Settings > Connections > Data usage > Mobile data.

  • If you have an Android device and are experiencing issues after ensuring that Data Roaming is turned on, you may need to manually test individual networks to find the right one that works for your device. Please go do Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Operators. Then turn off "Select Automatically," and then choose a different network manually

For Noble Global on your account:

From your Noble Dashboard (or app), Select Lines > Manage Line, and ensure that "Noble Global" to turned on. This is turned on by default when you sign up for Noble!

How do I set up voicemail for my Android phone?

If you have an Android phone and need to set up your voicemail after switching to Noble, please call this phone number: 1-805-637-7249.

Noble is on the T-Mobile network, and this is T-Mobile's carrier-specific phone number to accessing/configuring voicemail.

I purchased a new phone. How can I activate my Noble service on a new device?

If you have a physical SIM card and your new phone has an available SIM card slot, you can just install your Noble SIM card in your new phone and restart the device.

If you have a Noble eSIM, you can request a new eSIM directly from your Noble Dashboard! Go to Lines, find the line in question and select Manage Line, and then click on Request new eSIM. You will have to provide the IMEI number for your new device, and we'll generate one a QR code to scan and install a new Noble eSIM.

Does Noble offer port protection, fraud locks, or other additional layers of security?

We don't offer any specific security features right now, and we always recommend that you don't share your Noble account / login information. The good news is that you also likely already have the ability to implement a SIM lock on your phone itself! To be clear, this is different from a carrier lock (or other restriction made by a cellular carrier) and Noble does not control anything if you opt to implement a SIM lock on your device.
